The charming and busy little town of Kenmare is one mile away. There are excellent restaurants and two five-star hotels, not to mention colourful pubs and quaint little shops. Killarney lies in the opposite direction and has much to lure the visitor. Fishing hiking and horse riding is available in the area. Beyond Kenmare and over the metal bridge, lies the road to the Beara Peninsula.

walk the Heritage trail in Kenmare town or strole the beach in Derrynane. You can visit Kennedy’s Pet farm in Killarney - a favourite with children.
