This pretty gate lodge is located near Kells in historic Co. Meath, about an hour and a half drive from Dublin Airport and two hours from Belfast Airport. It stands at the entrance to a small Georgian farmhouse in a lovely parkland setting. The garden runs down to the little Tremblestown River. Visitors will find this self-catering retreat the ideal place to relax and unwind with little to disturb the peace and quiet but birdsong. Roses and honeysuckle scent the air in summer. The lodge offers a very high degree of charm and comfort. It is not a suitable property for children or pets.

Two fine 18-hole parkland golf courses - one ranked among the top ten in Ireland - at Headfort, Kells 10 minutes away. Horse riding, horse racing, coarse and fly fishing, go-karting all within reach. The prehistoric UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Newgrange and the Boyne Valley are less than an hour’s drive away. Many great gardens within easy reach.
