Kerry cottage wirh sea views: This very comfortable single-storey house overlooks Ballinskelligs Bay on the beautiful Iveragh or Ring of Kerry peninsula in the south west of Ireland. The nearest village is the Gaelic speaking village of Ballinskelligs. The original house was built in the 1930s but it was completely refurbished and substantially extended to 2000 square feet in 2003. The emphasis is on warmth, airiness and light, with big windows , lovely timbered floors and underfloor heating throughout. Enjoying a secluded - but not isolated - setting, the house and large one acre garden have breathtaking views of Ballinskelligs Bay, Horse Island, Waterville and the Magillicuddy Reeks, Ireland’s highest mountain range. Boat trips to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Skellig Michael leave from Reen Pier, a half mile down the road.
We regret that this house is not suitable for children.
