The house sits in a wooded area with a large terrace; a path leads one to the sea shore.

Accommodation information:

Birch House has 11 bedrooms, nine of which have en suite bathrooms. There are two large kitchens; one in each wing. The living rooms in the South and West Wings can be linked to accommodate large groups for family reunions and small intimate weddings (up to 22 guests).  The main kitchen is fitted with a full range of cooking equipment and utensils; the envy of even the most fervent cook! Large windows take full advantage of the spectacular view of Glengarriff Harbour.

Nine of the eleven bedrooms have en suite bathrooms (bath and shower).  Two bedrooms share a bathroom.

Sauna and a games room providing fun for all ages.   An open fire in each living room and games room combined with underfloor heating guarantees warmth and comfort throughout. The all weather games room equipped with a pool table, indoor soccer, dart boards, large variety of other games and a stereo system provides entertainment for adults and children alike.

This luxury house is five minutes drive from the town of Glengarriff and approximately 25 minutes drive from Bantry.

Sauna, games room  with pool table, soccer table, darts, etc., and a stereo system provide indoor entertainment.  One twin bedroom with bathroom ensuite. 

West Wing - First floor lower:  One twin bedroom with en suite bathroom and two twin bedrooms sharing a bathroom; one double bedroom with en suite bathroom

West wing- First floor upper: one double bedroom with en suite nathroom; one twin bedroom with en suite bathroom.

The area is rich in prehistoric sites. The Sheep's Head Peninsula also offers excellent touring by car. Seal colony and sea fishing at Carbery Island. Sandy and shingle beaches. Ilnacullin Gardens are a 'must see' for gardeners. Listen to Irish music and have a pint in one of the local pubs! Or just enjoy the peace and tranquility in this stunning location. This property is cloe to the beautiful Beara Peninsula and  within a short boat ride to Ilnacullin Island with its beautiful gardens.
