This splendid white castle has been in the same family for over 700 years and is one of Ireland’s most historic properties. Overlooking the great estuary of the River Shannon in County Limerick, on the south west coast of Ireland, the castle is an hour’s drive from Shannon Airport. It is surrounded by a formal garden, a 500-acre dairy farm and extensive woodland. Splendid interiors contain magnificent plasterwork and a notable collection of art and antiques. 15 luxurious en-suite bedrooms can accommodate up to 30 guests. This is not a self-catering property, and it comes fully staffed with cook and housekeeper.

There is a hard tennis court and a croquet lawn on the grounds. The extensive gardens provide an enviornment in which visiting gardeners can enjoy and examine the flowers, plants and trees.
