"A house that surpassed all our expectations" This stunning home covers 3000 square feet. Each of the seven bedrooms has its own bathroom. Situated on a very quiet and secluded hillside, yet only one mile from the centre of Kenmare.  Panoramic views of the Beara Mountains to the left and the Kenmare Bay and MacGillicuddy Reeks to the right.Killarney and theRing of Kerry ar to the west and Cork, Bantry and Beara Peninsulato the east.  The house is finished to the highest standard with fireplaces in four rooms.

7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms

All bedrooms are carpeted and have bathrooms with power showers; three bathrooms have bath tubs in addition to showers. The master bedroom has a sleigh bed, walk in wardrobe and separate bath and power shower with body jets. All windows are double glazed slide and sash.  There is a pretty modern kitchen with an informal dinng area; a games room with table tennis and a pool table; a conservatory and small bar. The charming sitting room has an antique piano and a fireplace.  The elegant diningroom has a fireplace and can seat up to 16.

Guests have  their own private access to Kenmare Bay and are welcome to wander through the woodland paths or relax on the deck, which is just a short 10 minutes walk from the house.

Amenities in the area:

The charming and busy little town of Kenmare is one mile away. There are excellent restaurants and two five-star hotels, not to mention colourful pubs and quaint little shops. Killarney lies in the opposite direction and has much to lure the visitor. Fishing hiking and horse riding is available in the area. Beyond Kenmare and over the metal bridge, lies the road to the Beara Peninsula.

Hire bikes from Finnegan’s Bike Shop, book golf lessons with the Adrian Whitehead Golf Academy in the Ring of Kerry Golf Club.

You can swim in the new leisure centre at the Kenmare Bay Hotel, walk the Heritage Trail in Kenmare town or stroll the beach in Derrynane.  Kennedy’s Pet Farm in Killarney is a favourite with children.
