This 18th century property is beautifully furnished and decorated, and the superbly proportioned rooms are as elegant as they are comfortable. In the grounds, ancient bridges lead to grassy islands, prehistoric monuments shelter beneath a canopy of oak and beech trees. And, if you feel like wandering off the estate, there is a little village within 300 yards (across the field). It has a pub and restaurant and the parkland golf course is rapidly gaining an excellent reputation.

Nearby Killarney, with its Lakes, and its many pubs and fine restaurants, is a mecca for all tourists to Ireland. Excellent cycling, horse riding and walking in the mountains (local guides can be arranged). Killarney’s two championship golf courses are within 10 minutes of the house; Tralee, Waterville and Ballybunion are within an hour’s drive. Excellent base for touring the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula and the Beara Peninsula. Tranquil local village.
